A gem right under my nose!

So I had a wedding to attend yesterday and had no time during the week to even think about what I was going to wear.  Although clothes shopping is my "therapy" I have the tendency to shop last minute for shoes and accessories.

This almost got the best of me yesterday as I got into a serious panic when I could not locate a gorgeous pair of shoes for my size "10 " feet.

So I've been assisting my girlfriend- who is plus sized by the way, with selecting a wedding dress for her upcoming nuptials in February of next year. I was simply amazed by the beautiful wedding gowns available online and locally for plus sized brides.

Yes, wearing black is slimming but colors are so much fun!

In the past three years I have moved from an almost religiously black wearing plus sized lady to one that loves to wear bright and beautiful colors. For those of you not ready to jump in with both feet you can start off by adding a colorful scarf to your favorite black dress or maybe a neon pair of pumps with that black jumpsuit. Trust me once you try it you will never go back to just basic black again.
